159. Interest rate

(1)

The interest rate for payments pursuant to section 157 shall be one and one-half per cent per month or part month, compounded monthly.

(2)

The interest rate for payments pursuant to section 158

shall be one-half per cent per month or part month, compounded monthly.

(3)

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsections (1) and (2), the Minister may vary the interest rate by Order published in the Gazette.
