9. Seal of the Corporation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The seal of the Corporation shall be in the custody of the Secretary and shall not be affixed to any instrument whatsoever except in the presence of Chairman and either the Secretay or the Treasurer duly authorized by the Council

Institute of Applied Statistics, Sri Lanka who shall sign their names on the instrument in token of their presence and such signing shall be independent of the signing of any person as a witness.
