16. Limitation of liability of members

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

No Member of the Corporation shall, for the purpose of discharging the debts and liabilities of the

Corporation, or for any other purpose, be liable to make any contribution exceeding the amount of annual subscription payable by him to the Corporation.
