Part VI

145. Assignment and transmission of trade names

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

A trade name may be assigned or transmitted together with the assignment or transmission of the enterprise or part of the enterprise identified by that name.

(2)

The provisions of section 123 shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to trade names.
