5. Administration of the affairs of the Corporation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

The affairs of the Corporation shall, subject to the rules in force for the time being of the Corporation, be administered by a Board of Management consisting of the office-bearers and such other persons as may be provided for in such rules and elected in accordance therewith.

(2)

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in subsection (1) of this section, Venerable Pelpola Vipassi Thero, the founder of the Organisation shall be the president of the

Corporation.

(3)

The first Board of Management of the Corporation shall be the Board of Management of the Organisation holding office on the day preceding the date of commencement of this

Act.
