Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 4 of the Judicature Act, No. 2 of 1978 is hereby amended by the substitution for the words “not more than forty Judges.” of the words “not more than sixty Judges.”.
