1. Short title and date of operation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

This Act may be cited as the Judicature

(Amendment) Act, No. 34 of 2022.

(2)

The provisions of this Act shall come into operation on such date or dates as the Minister may appoint by Order published in the Gazette.

(3)

Different dates may be appointed for bringing into operation different provisions of this Act.
