3. General objects of the Corporation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be —

to construct new buildings for the Kataragama

Kirivehera Rajamaha Viharastanaya and other temples affiliated thereto and to maintain and renovate of existing buildings ;
