7. Debts due by and payable to the Centre

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

All debts and liabilities of the Centre existing on the day preceding the date commencement of this Act shall be paid by the Corporation here by constituted and all debts due to, and subscriptions and contributions payable to the Centre on that day shall be paid to the Corporation for the purpose of this Act.
