4. Replacement of section 6 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 6 of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the substitution therefor, of the following section:—

6. Nothing in the provisions of section 5

shall be deemed to entitle any woman worker to claim the maternity benefits referred to in this Ordinance from more than one employer in respect of the same confinement.”.
