2. Repeal…

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The National Development Bank of Sri Lanka Act,

No. 2 of 1979 shall as from such date as may be specified by the Minister by Order published in the Gzette (hereinafter referred to as the “specified date”), be repealed. Such date shall be a date which is not later than six months from the date of the Certification of this Bill as an Act of Parliament by the Speaker under Article 79 of the Constitution.
