36. Interpretation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires -

“National Institute of Fisheries Training” means the

National Institute of Fisheries Training functioning under the Ministry of Fisheries ;

“Provincial Council” means a Provincial Council established by Chapter XVIIA of the Constitution.
