11. Amendment of section 87 of the principal enactment

Section 87 of the principal enactment as last amended by Act, No.28 of 1995 is hereby further amended as follows:-

(1)

by the insertion immediately after the definition of the word “guardian” of the following new definition:-

“licensed commercial bank” and Iicensed specialised bank” shall have the same meaning, respectively as in Banking Act, No.30 of 1988,”

by the insertion immediately after the definition of the expression “savings certificate”, of the following new definition:-

“savings instrument or product” means any instrument or product that will enable the Bank to mobilise savings”.
