13. The seal of the Authority

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

The seal of the Authority shall be as determined by the Board.

(2)

The seal of the Authority –

(a)

may be altered in such manner as may be determined by the Board;

(b)

shall be in the custody of such person or persons as the Board may determine;

(c)

shall not be affixed to any instrument or document without the sanction of the Board and except in the presence of two members of the Board, both of whom shall sign the instrument or document in token of their presence.

(3)

The Board shall maintain a register of documents to which the seal of the Authority has been affixed.
