19. Filling vacancy on the expiration of the term of office, death, removal or resignation

(1)

In the event of any vacation of office by the

Parliamentary Budget Officer or the Deputy Parliamentary

Budget Officer due to death, removal, resignation or on the expiration of the term of office, the Secretary General of

Parliament shall invite fresh applications for the respective offices in terms of section 14.

(2)

A person appointed pursuant to subsection (1) shall be appointed for a term of five years.
