Part III

37. Regulations to supersede agreements and arrangements

Agreements between bankers, including those in the form of clearing houe rules or similar arrangements, may govern the implementation of all matters set out in this Part and shall be binding between the parties thereto :

Provided that any rules, directions or instructions issued by the Central Bank for such purposes under this Act, shall supersede any such agreement or arrangements as the case may be.

Rules, directions and instructions relating to the implementation of this Part are deemed to bind and benefit parties liable on and entitled to enforce a cheque governed by them.
