49. Protection of officers of the Authority from suit or prosecution

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

A liability whether civil or criminal, shall not be attached to any officer of the Authority or to any officer authorized by such officer, for anything which is done in good faith in the performance or exercise of any function or power imposed or conferred on the Authority under this Act.
