32. Procurement

(1)

Every public entity shall procure the goods, services, works, consultancy services and information systems in compliance with the procurement procedures specified in written laws and guidelines issued from time to time by the National Procurement Commission.

(2)

(a)

Every public entity specified in subparagraph (i)

of paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section 3 shall be required to prepare and provide to the Secretary to the Treasury its annual procurement plans.

(b)

Every public entity specified in subparagraphs (ii)

and (iii) of paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section 3 shall be required to prepare and provide their annual procurement plans to the respective Chief Accounting Officer.

(3)

The National Procurement Commission may, if it deems necessary, formulate and publish in the Gazette specific guidelines for State Owned Enterprises and

Provincial Councils.
