58. Powers and duties of the Secretary to the Treasury regarding State-Owned Enterprises

(1)

The Secretary to the Treasury may, as he deemed necessary issue directives on policy matters for State-Owned

Enterprises covering accountability and governance requirements, review of their financial performance and any other matters including administration, budgeting, procurement, investment, finance and reporting, subject to relevant written laws.

(2)

The Secretary to the Treasury shall keep a record of all shareholdings in State-Owned Enterprises.
