28. Consumer protection

The Commission shall in the exercise of its powers under any industry Act or any regulation made thereunder, protect the rights of the consumer—

(a)

against the marketing of goods and services which are hazardous to life and property ;

(b)

against unfair trade practices ;

(c)

to be heard and to be assured that their interests will receive due consideration ; and

(d)

to consumer education.
