12. Provisions of the Evidence Ordinance not to apply

The provisions of this Part of this Act, shall notwithstanding the provisions of section 108 of the Evidence

Ordinance as amended by the Evidence (Amendment) Act,

No. 10 of 1988, be applicable to the issue of death certificates in respect of persons whose death is attributable to any natural disaster or calamity and the death in question had occurred within an area declared to be a National Disaster Area in terms of section 9.
