23. Registering officer to furnish Commis-sioner with certain particulars

Every registering officer shall, as soon as may be after a regisicr has been certified by him under section 10
or section 18, furnisi: to the Commissioner in such form as:
the Commissioner may determine in that behalf a statement setting out the total number of electors whose names appear in such register.
Where any name is entered in any register under section 15 or section 22, or where any name is expunged from such register under section 15, the registering officer shall forthwith furnish to the Commissioner in such form as may be determined by the Commissioner in that behalf, an amended statement of the total number of electors whose names appear in such register.
