1. Short title and the date of operation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

This Act may be cited as the Registration of Electors

(Amendment) Act, No. 22 of 2021 and shall come into operation on February 1, 2022.
