19. Appeals

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

An insurer who is aggrieved by a decision made by the Board under section 18 may, within fourteen days of being informed of such decision, appeal therefrom to the Court of Appeal.

(2)

The Court of Appeal may on appeal made under this section, confirm, revise, modify or set aside the decision against wich the appeal is made and may make such order as the interests of justice may require.
