49. Furnishing of reports

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Every insurer shall furnish to the Board —

(a)

a certified copy of the report relating to the business of the insurer submitted to the shareholders of the company, or the policy holders of the insurer, immediately after it is so submitted ; and

(b)

a quarterly return containing such information as may be determined by the Board by rules made in that behalf.
