9. Amendment of section 27 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 27 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in the proviso to subsection (1) of that section by the substitution for the words “premises on a date prior to the specified date.”, of the words “premises on a date prior or subsequent to the specified date by inheritance or gift from a parent or spouse.”.
