13. Objectives of the Authority

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The objectives of the Authority shall be to-

(a)

ensure resettlement or relocation in a safe and dignified manner of internally displaced persons and refugees ;

(b)

facilitate the resettlement or relocation of the internally displaced persons and refugees in order to rehabilitate and assist them by facilitating their entry into the development process.
