5. Application of the Civil Procedure Code

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Every action filed under the provisions of this Act shall be proceeded with and regulated by the procedure provided for in the Civil Procedure Code (Chapter 101).
