33. Duration of a definitive safeguard measure

(1)

A definitive safeguard measure shall be applied for a period of not more than four years, including the period of application of any provisional measure, unless it is extended under the provisions of section 36.

(2)

The total duration of the period of application of a definitive safeguard measure, including the period of application of any provisional measure, the period of initial application and any extension thereof under section 36, shall not exceed a period of ten years.
