20. Islamic financial transactions

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The turnover arising from any Islamic financial transaction shall be subject to levy in a similar manner as equivalent in substance to non-Islamic financial transactions.
