Part VII · Recovery of Levy

33. Power of Commissioner-General to obtain information for the recovery of levy

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Commissioner-General may, by notice given in writing or by electronic means to any person, require that person within the period specified in such notice to furnish any information which the Commissioner-General may require for the purpose of recovering any levy due from such person or any other person.
