28. Power of companies to enter into contracts with the Board

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Any Company or other body of persons may, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any written law or instrument relating to its functions, enter into and perform all such contracts other than those relating to any handing over of transport services, with the Board necessary for the performance of the duties and the exercise of the powers of the Board.
