60. Manner of service of notice &c,

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

Any notice, order, instrument or other document required under this or any Order made thereunder to be served on any person, may be served-

(a)

by delivering it that person ; or

(b)

by leaving it at the usual or last known place of abode of that person, or in the case of a body corporate, at the registered office of that body.

(2)

Any document which is served in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) shall be deemed to have been duly served on the person to whom it is addressed.
