5. Amendment of section 72 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 72 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution for the words “by his discharge from his office.”, of the words and figure “by his discharge from his office or on such trustee being convicted of an offence under section 19C.”.
