7. Amendment of section 20 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 20 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (2) of that section by the repeal of items (b) and (c) and the substitution therefor of the following:–

“(b)

the name, address and the registration number of the person to whom the supply was made;

(c)

the date on which the tax invoice was issued and its serial number which does not exceed 40

characters without any space;”.
