3. Amendment of section 83 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 83 of the principal enactment is hereby amended, by the insertion immediately after the expression

“manufacture” of the following expression:-

““Minister” means the Minister assigned the subject of Finance in terms of Article 44

or 45 of the Constitution;”;
