13. General amendment to the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

In the principal enactment, -

(a)

by the substitution for the word “Commissioner”

wherever that word appears of the words “Senior

Commissioner”;

(b)

by the substitution for the words “Deputy

Commissioner” wherever such words appear of the word “Commissioner”;

(c)

by the substitution for the word “Senior Assessor”

wherever such word appears of the words “Senior

Commissioner” or “Deputy Senior Commissioner”;

(d)

by the substitution for the word “Assessor”

wherever such word appears of the words “Assessor”

or “Assistant Commissioner”.
