8. Functions of the Board

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The functions of the Board shall be to administer the affairs of the Hospital and to ensure that it functions efficiently and effectively as an institution for the care of the sick.
