6. Amendment of certain provisions of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The principal enactment is hereby amended in the provision specified in Column I of the Schedule to this Act, by the substitution, for the word or expression specified in the corresponding entry in Column II of that Schedule, of the word or expression specified in the corresponding entry in

Column III of that Schedule.
