41. Day book
ප්රතිචාර සහ සහායනිල ඉංග්රීසි පරිවර්තනය. එය සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ පාඨයට වඩා වෙනස් නම් බලපවත්වන පාඨය කුමක්දැයි පනතේම සඳහන් වේ.
Each Registrar of Title shall keep a book to be:
Registrar of Title
“Registrar of Title” means any person appointed as Registrar of Title under this Act;
called the “day book” in which shall be entered the prescribed particulars of every instrument presented for registration with the day and hour and if required by the person presenting the instrument, the minute of presentation, and for the purpose «
instrument
“instrument” means a document having the effect of conveying title to and interest in any land parcel in the prescribed form.
of priority the time of presentation shail be taken as the time of registration.
An instrument presented for registration through the post or under cover shall be deemed to have been presented for registration at the time the packet containing the instrument is opened.
