8. Exemption from stamp duties

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any other written law, all documents or instruments made or used under the provisions of this Act shall be free from stamp duty.
