23. Capital of the Board

(1)

The initial capital of the Board shall be twenty million Rupees.

(2)

The amount of the initial capital of the Board shall be paid to the Board out of the Consolidated Fund of Sri

Lanka.

(3)

The Capital of the Board may be increased from time to time by such amount as may be determined by the

Board in consultation with the Minister in charge of the subject of Agriculture.
