17. Provisions of this Act to prevail over provisions of the Deed

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in the Ambuluwawa

Environment Development and Conservation Trust Fund, and accordingly in the event of any conflict between the provisions of this Act and the provisions of the Ambuluwawa

Environment Development and Conservation Trust Fund, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.
