56. Protection and preservation of information

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Commission shall by way of rules specify the criteria for the protection and preservation of information received or collected by the Commission by way of a data message, electronic document, electronic record or other communication in electronic form.
