3. Amendment of section 16 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 16 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows :—

(1)

by the substitution, for the words “specified either in section 17 or in section 19”, of the words

“specified in section 17 or in section 17A or in section 19” ; and

(2)

by the substitution, for the words “in accordance with section 17”, of the words “in accordance with section 17 or section 17A”.
