35. Central Bank to notify the exercising of resolution powers

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

The Central Bank may, where appropriate, notify the Minister and other relevant authorities including any foreign supervisory or resolution authorities, of the exercise by the Central Bank of its resolution powers under this Act.

(2)

The Central Bank shall publish a notice in three

Sinhala, Tamil and English daily newspapers circulating in

Sri Lanka with respect to the exercise of resolution powers on any licensed bank under this Part of this Act.
