s 1Short title
This Act may be cited as the Board of Investment of
Sri Lanka (Amendment) Act, No. 36 of 2009.
s 2Amendment of Schedule B to the principal enactment
Schedule B to the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka
Law, No. 4 of 1978 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal enactment”), is hereby amended by the insertion, immediately after the item “The National Film Corporation of Sri Lanka Act,
No. 47 of 1971”, of the following new item :—
“The Inland Revenue Act, No. 10 of 2006.”
s 3Amendment to Schedule B to be deemed to have come in to force on the date of commencement of the Inland Revenue Act
The amendment made in Schedule B to the principal enactment by section 2 shall for all purposes be deemed to have come into force on March 31, 2006, being the date on which the Inland Revenue Act, No. 10 of 2006 came into force.
s 4Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency
In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail.

(Foreign), Payable to the SUPERINTENDENT, GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS BUREAU, DEPARTMENT OF
GOVERNMENT INFORMATION, NO. 163, KIRULAPONA MAWATHA, POLHENGODA, COLOMBO 05 before 15th
December each year in respect of the year following.
