7. Amendment of section 528 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 528 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (3) of that section, by the addition immediately after paragraph (b) thereof of the following paragraph :—

“(c)

notices on the respondents who have not consented to the application, requiring them to file objections if any, to the application on or before the date specified in the notice under section 529. Such notice shall be sent by the probate officer by registered post.”.
