477. Fees

Regulations may be made under this Act for prescribing the fees payable to the Registrar for—
the registration of a limited company ;
the registration of an unlimited company ;
the registration of a company limited by guarantee ;
the registration of any document required or authorised to be registered or required to be delivered, sent, given or forwarded to or filed with, the Registrar, other than the notices and reports required to be delivered to the Registrar by a receiver or manager, an administrator or a liquidator ;
the recording of any fact required or authorised by this Act to be recorded by the Registrar ;
the registration of off-shore companies under Part
XI ; and
the registration of overseas companies under Part
XVIII.
Where no special provision is made for the payment of a fee in respect of the registration, recording or filing of any document, the fee to be paid to the Registrar in respect of that registration, recording or filing shall be the same as the fee for making a record of any fact.
The Registrar may refuse to exercise a power or perform a function, until the prescribed fee in respect of such function is paid.
