524. Documents to be received in evidence

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Any document purporting to be made or furnished for the purposes of this Act by or on behalf of a company or by any person, shall for all purposes be, until the contrary is proved, deemed to have been made or furnished by such company or person, as the case may be. Any person signing any such document shall be deemed to be cognizant all matters therein.
